It was mummy’s birthday yesterday. We celebrated her birthday by buying her lots of presents - a bike, bike accessories and a balloon from ruyi and friends and a card and teddy bear from me.
Before we could give her the presents, ruyi suggested a wonderful surprise for mummy. We all agreed.
The plan was to mount the bike on a rack at the back of the car and tie the bear to the seat while mummy was at the stadium. And when mummy came near to the car and we would surprise her.
So it started when mummy went for her haircut at J8. We told her we were going to the library to borrow books but instead of going to the library we sneaked off to buy mummy’s birthday presents.
After buying the presents, we walked towards the car park but unfortunately we saw mummy coming down the escalator, so we ran as fast as our legs could carry us. In the end we managed to escape unnoticed.
We went to Zac’s house to collect mummy’s and my bike. At the void deck Zac and Sharon took a long time to figure out how to mount the bikes to the back of the car. It was really complicated. When we were in the car, ruyi was driving so fast that zac was afraid the bikes would fall off the rack.
We went to Queenstown stadium to watch mummy play soccer. Mummy was playing against Canada. When we reached there the score was 4-0. While watching the game, we ate potato chips and dried guava.
When the game ended, the score is 8-0. Then mummy went to bathe. We all waited for her outside the toilet. It was time to go and eat so mummy walked towards the car park. And when she reached the car we jumped out and shouted “Happy Birthday”. Mummy was surprised. Then we took some pictures together and we jumped in the car to go to a coffee shop at Alexandra Village for dinner.
After eating, wei min took out the cake and we sang the birthday song for mummy. The cake tastes nice and there are some oreo biscuits on the cake. I enjoyed myself that day and I think mummy also enjoyed herself. And most importantly she wants to thank everybody for the pleasant surprise.
