this is my trophy

i went to school today to receive my prize. i was in the car when i saw my friend, amy. i ran to my school hall quickly to assemble. when amy came we kept talking. after talking for 1 hour, the principal walked in to deliver her speech. she kept talking and talking. i was so bored because i don't know what was she talking about.

finally, she finished her speech. miss suzanah lined us up to collect our prize. i was very nervous because i don't have confident to go on stage. i waited anxiously for my name to be called. i walked up the stage upon hearing my name. mummy said i smiled from ear to ear when i went on stage. i recived a trophy and a $10 voucher.

after the prize presentation, we had a concert. the drama club, choir, dance group and the chinese orchestra performed. after the concert, we went to junction 8. ruyi treated me to shushi. i ate a lot. i enjoyed myself.

i felt happy and proud. i will continue to work hard to receive prizes every year.
